We started as a small initiative of volunteer lawyers; today we support hundreds of families across the country. Here are the key milestones of that path.
-
2019
The first legal clinic
A few lawyers began giving free consultations in Lviv — at first once a week, in a local library.
-
2020
The organization is registered
The initiative became an NGO. The first staff team of five people appeared, along with the legal-awareness strand.
-
2022
Work during the full-scale invasion
We refocused our work on helping those affected by the war:
- support for families of missing persons;
- documenting war crimes;
- a humanitarian hub in Lviv.
-
2023
A network of regional clinics
We opened legal clinics in three more regions and began training lawyers to record war crimes to international standards.
-
2024
More than 500 families supported
The team grew to 24 people. We launched a legal-awareness strand for communities and started publishing annual reports.
-
Today
What comes next
We are expanding the clinic network, strengthening documentation and preparing materials for international bodies.
